Starting in April, we’re running the GameOn Campus Cup, a six-month inter-club arcade competition open to all registered tertiary clubs in Auckland. Each month, we nominate a game. Your members come in, play, and show their score to the staff. We'll keep a leaderboard online and in the arcade.
Register before 31 March to make sure your club is ready to compete from day one.
Monthly Club Prize
The club with the highest score on each month’s game wins 1 hour of Timed Play* for all registered members. Members claim it on the First Friday of the following month — but they can use it any day they like. Members just need to show up on that Friday with their club ID to load it onto their card. We’ll post the monthly winner on socials, and email you if you’re the winner.
*Timed play works on blue and green readers. Players do not receive tickets during timed play.
Monthly Individual Prize
The player who posts the top score each month wins Double Dollars for the entire following month — meaning they get double the amount they spend in arcade credit on any purchase they make at GameOn CBD. Loaded onto one nominated card (e.g. spend $10 get 20 credits).
The Grand Prize
Points are awarded each month based on where your club ranks. The club with the highest total points across all six months wins the Campus Cup – and an exclusive VIP Event at GameOn CBD, including:
- Exclusive use of our party area for a VIP Event
- 10x Sal’s Pizzas
- 2 Hours of Timed Play* and $10 in arcade credits for every attending member
- The inaugural Campus Cup trophy
- Bragging rights that will last well beyond graduation
